Students making a difference for students.
Have fun with fundraising!
Bring your friends and come play games to win "donation dollars". Once you have your "donation dollars" in hand, you can give them to the cause of your choice (Student Awards, Student Emergency Funding and/or the UFV-SUS Food Bank).
The UFV Student Union Society (SUS) has generously donated $4,000 which has been matched by an anonymous donor equaling $8,000 in “donor dollars”. Your participation will make a real impact on UFV students.

Daria — one of the recipients of UFV International Emergency Fund — relocated to BC in the summer of 2022 to escape the war in Ukraine. Now a first-year student at UFV, she is studying business and living in the Lá:lem te Baker student residence on the Abbotsford campus.
"I finally started seeing a clearer path in front of me and that I have real chances now to continue my education here thanks to the support from UFV."

"I am not only a student, but a Community Assistant at Lá:lem te Baker. I meet wonderful people every day on campus. Unfortunately, many students struggle with economical issues, and they cannot perform their best under these conditions. Thanks to our lovely donors we can find and help students who are struggling financially."
